Are my eyes too small? (with pics inside). too small for make up?

I go to a make up store and hand her a picture of a make up style I would like to achieve. The picture showed an arabic style, lots of eyeliner and eyeshadow. She looks at me and says “are you sure? I think certain eyes can achieve/pull off this look. You’re shape is too small.”
I left mad. So my eyes are almond shape, big deal?!
only arab women or ppl with big eyes will look good with it?
I go to someone else and show it to her and she says it looks fine.

so are my eyes truly too small? because i wanna know what make up looks on me?! i dont askmy friends because they’ll think im too conceited/arrogant
